Mr. Jared S. Johnson

"We are confident, I say, and willing to rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 Jared Sayvion Johnson was born on July 12, 2001, in Kansas City, Missouri to Angela Johnson and Jerry Johnson Sr. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Deontay "Budd" Campbell Sr., his paternal grandparents, Anita Faye Johnson and James Johnson and his uncle Michael Robinson. Jared was baptized at an early age at Sheffield Family Life Center. Jared was a proud graduate of Raytown High School Class of 2019, where he was actively involved in cheerleading and the step team. After graduating from high school, he continued his education at Langston University and later worked in various roles, with his most recent employment at Home Depot. Jared had a passion for drawing, cooking and dancing. He was an active member of the "4eva Envy Drill Team.” He was called home on February 7, 2026, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by loved ones. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents Angela Johnson and Jerry Johnson Sr.; his siblings, Colonie Jenkins (Nate Jenkins) of Houston, Texas; Le'Treasha Brooks of Blue Springs, Missouri; and Jerry Johnson Jr. of Raytown, Missouri. He is also survived by his bonus siblings, Kristen Gipson (Deandre Gipson), Damon Johnson, and Logan Nevels-Lee; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Chasidy Lovingood, Ta'Niya Brooks, Nate' Jenkins, Deontay Campbell Jr., Tyler Lindsey, Kynslei Bell and Jahri Johnson, along with a host of extended family and friends. Jared will be remembered for his generosity, his vibrant spirit, and the love he showed to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
