Obituary “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted” Matthew 5:4 Frederick Roman Hamilton Sr. affectionately known as Freddy 77 was born to the union of Wayman & Christella Hamilton on April 15, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. Both parents, 4 brothers Charles, Julius, Wayman & Walter a sister Eleanor & a granddaughter Christy Carrol preceded him in death. Freddy began his relationship with Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late D.A. Holmes at Paseo Baptist Church in 2005 Frederick rededicated his life to Christ under Pastor Delmar White and has continued to frequent Paseo throughout. Freddy was Intelligent, kind, hardworking, loving, handsome and charming. Many will remember Fred for his storytelling, tough love and great sense of humor. Always the first to crack a joke while lending a listening ear or offering a helping hand; with his quick wit he cultivated many lifelong acquaintances. Freddy enjoyed bowling, watching political and sports commentary and also spent a great deal of time fishing and feeding injured ducks at Troost Lake while reading his Kansas City Star, but his favorite pastime included going on daily shopping sprees to 7 eleven for lottery tickets and Diet Pepsi. Freddy had a successful career of 30 years as a Master HVAC Technician. The vast majority of his career was spent at Housing Authority of KCMO (HAKC) where he completed 20 years of service. His final position was with F.K. Gibbs before making the decision to retire. During his career with the Housing Authority he met and married his lovely wife Ella L Brown- Hamilton whom he leaves to cherish his memory. Also left to mourn Freddy’s memory are his sons Frederick R Hamilton Jr., Kenneth Chase (Jamie), Victor V Hamilton, and Markez D Brown. His daughters Debrah Brown (Doyle), Joy Donnell, Debra Miles (Donald), Cynthia Carroll (Ronnie), Monica (Matt) Hamilton, Mahdia Brown, Francis Davis and his baby-girl Myuah Christel Hamilton. He is also survived by 1 brother Carlton (Fannie) Hamilton, 1 sister Theresa McGee and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Paseo Baptist Church 2501 The Paseo Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri 64108.
