Obituary Fred Douglas Brewster Jr, 18, was born on March 13th, 2003 in Kansas City, Mo to Diane Smith and Fred D. Brewster Sr. Fred accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Vision for Change Ministries. He was a current Senior at Ray-Pec High School in Raymore, Mo. He also attended Raytown South where he was a member of the basketball team. Fred affectionately known as “DJ” was a very caring and giving person. There was nothing you couldn’t ask him for. He loved and adored his family and friends. Fred was the middle of twelve children and truly was the center of attention and loved spending time with his brothers and his sisters. He loved drawing, writing, performing, and producing music. He was the LIFE of every party. Although he was mild mannered, he was also very outgoing and spontaneous and never met a stranger who could resist his infectious smile. Fred was preceded in death by paternal great-grandmother Theodosia George, maternal great-grandmother Annie O. Smith, paternal grandfather Fred Hogan, step grandfather Walter A. Taylor Jr, and maternal uncle Dennis Mbom Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother Diane Smith-Taylor (Walter), Father Fred D. Brewster Sr., grandmother Charlene Brewster, Clareatha Kinnamon (Thomas) and grandfather Richard Robinson. 11 siblings Monterrio WallaceBrewster, Jasmin Brewster, Latavia Brewster, Malik Johnson, De’Omar Thomas, Kahalia Brewster, Destiny Taylor, Michael Brewster, Dayron Brewster, Brooklyn Brewster, Jurni Brewster. God siblings Camael Blewett, Janet Blewett, Rod’ Janae Perkins, Apollo Collins, Zanthony Banks, Najah Finley, Kenneth Finley III and God Mother LaCreshia Banks. 4 nieces and 1 nephew Maloni Montgomery, Iman Johnson, Semaj Smith, Amari Thomas, Amariauna Thomas, special friend Marsean Crosby and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, 2:00pm at the Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1pm-2pm at the chapel.
