Mr. Frank H. Burrell

Mr. Frank Henry Burrell was born on March 12, 1943, in Taft, Oklahoma, to the late Handy Burrell and Eula Wilma Cornwell. On July 17, 2025, at the age of 82, Frank peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength. A devoted man of faith, Frank was a long-standing and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Quindaro, where he found purpose, strength, and a deep sense of community. His involvement in the church reflected his commitment to God and to serving his family, values that shaped every part of his life. Throughout his life, Frank worked diligently in various roles ultimately found his professional calling as a certified machinist, a career he pursued with excellence and took great pride in. Frank married Shirley Taylor, becoming a devoted and guiding presence in the lives of her young sons, Raye and Darryl Williams. In August of 1973, Frank and Shirley welcomed a daughter, Lamonica Burrell, affectionately known as “Precious,” who was the joy of his life and his pride and joy. Later in life, Frank married Cosetta (Wallace) Burrell and once again embraced the role of a loving father figure to her children: Stevie, William (Magradis), and Lisa Wallace. Frank’s heart knew no limits when it came to family, and he generously gave his love, wisdom, and support to all those he cared for. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cosetta Burrell; both parents; his Aunt Mattie Burrell; and Aunt Janey Teague; who raised him; his Godmother Estelle Taylor; and brother-in-law, Paul Taylor Jr… He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughter, Lamonica Burrell; and his stepchildren; Raye, William (Magradis); Lisa; Darryl; and Stevie; his legacy lives on through his 21 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins; friends; and extended family. Frank will be remembered for his unwavering faith, steady presence, and the warmth he shared so freely. His wisdom, humor, and gentle heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory and the impact of his life will live on forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
