Reflection of Life Elizabeth D Thomas was born on July 19, 1934, in Eudora, Arkansas to the late, Joe and Lillian Woodruff She was the oldest of nine children’s. Elizabeth made her transition on October 25, 2023, at 8:22 AM at St. Luke’s Comfort Care, Center. In 1961 Elizabeth was United in Holy Matrimony to Arthur Lee Thomas their loving Union produced 9 children’s, 10 children’s together. Elizabeth was proceeded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas. By her sons, John, Michael, and Patrick Thomas. Parents, Joe, (Lillian) Woodruff Sr. Brother Joe Woodruff Jr. Elizabeth receiver, her Education, and Eudora, Arkansas at East High School Elizabeth, move to Kansas City Missouri in 1961 She worked for Customer Service at Royals Stadium for many years. Elizabeth was a faithful member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 Years. Before her health failed, she worked as a Secretary of Sunday School, The Kitchen committee, Vacation Bible school, Song in the choir, and active member of the Mission. Elizabeth was Baptized at an early age at The Sunflower Baptist Church in Eudora, Arkansas Elizabeth is survived by Sons: Richard (Ernestine ) Clark, Stepson-Gill (Jolene )Thomas, Jerry Jenkins, Larry, Dwight, Bernard (LaRhonda) Thomas. (Daughters: Davia, Bridget (Tim) Danner, and Rosalind. Daughter -N-Law Wanda Thomas. Brothers: John (Gloria)Woodruff Harold (Sarah) Woodruff, Charles (Janet) Woodruff Sisters: Lillie Woodruff , Barbara Woodruff, Josephine Washington and Mable Redmon and Sister-N-Law: Dorothy Williams . Grandchildrens: Sandra , Lavinia, Richard Jr., Derrick , TaLisha, Tavish , Taja, Shakyla, Chenise,Tyjuan, Shaqwayla, Dwight Jr., Mariah , Alonzo Jr., Viollisa, Sheila, Shumeeke Jr., Jalin, Desiree ,Alex, and Margaret Elizabeth.Great-Grands: Twenty Eight.Great-Great Grands: Five Uncountable Numbers of Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and Great Great Niece; a host of Cousins, St Paul Church Members and a Lifetime of Friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, 11am Prince of Peace MBC. Interment Monday, November 6, 2023, Leavenworth National Cemetery, LVNKS. Visitation will be from, 9am-11am at the church. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
