Earl E. C. White, Jr.

Earl White, Jr was born August 18, 1945 in Augusta, Georgia. , the oldest of five children born to Earl Sr. and Theresa Bennett. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad. Earl enjoyed his early life with his family. He was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend R. L. McCoy and served faithfully as a member and church usher. After completing Lucy C. Laney High School, Augusta Ga. in the class of 1963, he joined the Army. While in the military services Earl worked as a military police officer and rose to the rank of Sargent First Class. Earl entered the military during the Vietnam era and served 2 tours in Vietnam. Earl also served in Korea and Germany. He returned to the states and completed his twenty-two years in the military. After leaving the military, Earl joined the military police force at an Air Force Base in California. Earl later moved to Missouri and worked as security at Rockhurst College. Earl later went to work for the military as a police officer serving in the Marshall Islands. He returned to the states after spending two years there and worked for the Veterans Hospital as a police officer. He received the Medal of Valor and Meritorious Service Medal. He retired in 2007. Earl married Rose to which two children were born, Earl and Michelle. Earl entered into marriage with Carolyn King and together raised their two children, Topher and Camilah. Earl enjoyed his life and often talked about his motorcycle adventures and his love for his blue Plymouth. When he was driving his car, he caught the attention of everyone on the road, especially the “police”. Earl quietly transitioned this life on January 17, 2025 at Research Hospital. Earl possessed a gentle spirit and his kindness and love will live in our hearts forever. Earl leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: his wife Carolyn, his children: Earl, Michelle, Topher and Camilah and 9 grandchildren; brothers Eugene, St. Louis, MO; Irvin , Augusta, GA, his children Joy and Tommy, and Charles Los Angeles, CA; sisters: Brenda and Ann, her son Kenny Augusta, GA, and Myrine, her son Damian Los Angeles, CA; brother-in-law James King Knoxville, TN, sisters-in-law Barbara Johnson and Franciena King Kansas City, MO and Wilma King of Louisville KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services Friday, January 31, at 10:30am at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation 9:30am-10:30am at the chapel.
