CLEMENT BERT TALLEY

Obituary God called Clement Bert Talley, 74, of Kansas City, MO, his beloved servant home from his journey on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021. Clement was born on December 10th, 1946 to Frank and Matilda Talley in New Bedford, MA. After graduating from Bishop Lillis High School in 1965, then he joined the Air Force in 1967. After his discharge from the Air Force, he landed his first job as a Bus Driver for Greyhound for 45 years. In December of 1970, he met Lana Romany (Pinky) in London, and they wed in 1977, going on to have 3 children; Sean, Natalie and Nicole. Clement was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Sean, Natalie, Nicole and Lana; and always tried his best to support them. He was also a proud grandfather of six, Kareem, Maranda, DJ, Lizzy, Derrion and Ethan. Clement was also passionate on coaching, taking pictures, talking to anyone that was around, and could often be found at Sam’s or Costco when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Clement knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Clement was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Matilda Talley, Brian Dunn and Marlon Romany, his nephews. He is survived by his wife, Lana “Pinky”; Children: Sean Talley, Natalie (Derrick) Brown, Nicole (Nathaniel) Wylie; Grandchildren: Kareem, Maranda, DJ, Lizzy, Derrion, and Ethan; Sisters: Naomi Talley, Sharon Henson, Diane (Jiles) Dunn, and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
