Obituary CAMERON LUKE CROCKETT OBITUARY Cameron Luke Crockett was born Friday February 28, 1969 at 8:00 A.M. at General Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri to Luke and Marcella Crockett. Cameron was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents Luke and Lucille Crockett, maternal grandparents Marcellus and Catherine Carter, his son Cameron Luke Crockett Jr., siblings Patricia, Loren, Clarence, Lisa, Gloria and Albert. Cameron graduated Faxon elementary, Westport Jr. and Sr. high schools in the Kansas City, Missouri district in 1987. Cameron was active member of the world renowned Kansas City, Missouri Marching Cobras reaching and serving as Drum Major of the direction of Mr. Willie Smith. As a cobra, Cameron traveled the world entertaining Monarchs throughout Europe and Presidents in the United States. Cameron served in the United States military as a marine and a White House Honor Guard during President George Bush Sr. administration for 3 years and received a honorable discharge. Cameron never met a stranger and made friends throughout the world. Cameron married Miss Brenda Howard in May of 1990 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Their union produced a son, Cameron Luke Crockett Jr. Cameron was an avid sports fan particularly football, basketball and swimming as well a collector of soul and rythmn and blues music. Cameron was an animal lover. Cameron was an ambitious culinary artist and produced pallet sumptuous cuisine in 5 star restuarants in the continental United States and was known as the grillmaster to his family. Over the last 10 years, Cameron has lived in the Boston, Taunton and Bellingham Massachusetts area with girlfriend Regina Fontes and her 2 sons. Cameron will be greatly missed by his siblings Marcellus Carter (Carol), Sultan Farakhan (Connie),Catherine Beard (Willard), Charles Bailey and Helen Wade as well as a host of nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022, 11:00am at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery, LVNKS.
