Mr. Berrion Brown

Obituary Berrion “Berry” Brown,74 was born on January 17th 1948 in Kansas City Missouri to Berrion Brown and Leora Wright. Both parents; one brother, Bernard Brown; two sisters, JoAnn Merritt and Lee Wanda Keller; three sons; Fonzel Adams, Thurman Adams, Darrell Adams, Father and Mother in Law; three sisters in law; three Brother in laws all preceded him in death. Berry attended school in the Kansas City Missouri School District. Berry believed in working hard to provide for his Wife and family. Berry worked throughout the Kansas City area, St Regis Paper Company, St Luke's Hospital, and American Cans to name a few. Berry completed his employment as a hard worker when he retired from Oldsmobile. Berry met the Love of his life Ms. Juanita Adams over 50 years ago, she later became Mrs. Brown. Berry not only married Juanita but he married her 6 children also. To this union two sons were born Berry Jr. and Kareem. They were married for 55 years. Berry loved Juanita, there was no hiding that, the smile he had just looking at her was priceless. When life tested them as a couple, he definitely honored his vows as far as in sickness and health. Berry cared for Juanita so gently when her health problems began. Berry was so determined to do all he could for his Wife until his health failed. Berry enjoyed spending all his free time with his wife and family. Washing his nice cars was a duty he didn’t mind doing. Berry loved being amongst his family, his grandchildren brought him so much joy. Berry was a great cook and he enjoyed cooking and watching a good Boxing Fight or those Super Bowl Champs The Kansas City Chiefs. Berry was known to grasp the attention by his nice attire, he took pride in his appearance being well dressed was his thing. Berry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will forever have a special place in the Hearts of many. Berry went home to rest eternally on Sunday January 23rd at the Hospice House. Berry leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Juanita Brown, three sons, Berrion Brown Jr, and Kareem Brown, and Jerry Adams; two daughters both of California, Sheryl Sutherland(Richard) and Lowanda Frierson(John); Three brothers Sterling Love(Sade) of Arkansas, Jack Baker Sr, Donald Bakeer(Sharon) of california, two sisters Myrtle Roach of Kansas City and Sondra Dunn (Leotis) of California; five Grandsons Berrion Brown “Poppy”, Brandon Brown, Seville, Charles Jackson, Bobby Jackson of California; seven granddaughters Blair Brown, Bre’Anna Brown, Monica Adams, and Latasha of Kansas City, Tyesha Adams, Carliece Woods, and Miranda Sutherland of California; 13 great grand kids; a special nephew Curtis Baker; A special daughter in law Lisa Weathers; his Best friend since 1973 Ronald Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial service will be held Thursday, February 10, at 1:00 pm at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Linwood Chapel. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel.
