Mrs. Arme Jean Christian

Arme Jean McGrone Christian, 68 passed away November 9, 2025, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on March 27, 1957, in Pickens, Mississippi to James McGrone and Lillian Rogers Flowers. Arme Jean grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970. After high school she attended the Police Academy where she received an achievement award. She began to work for Integrity Healthcare as a caregiver where she worked for over 25 years. She retired in 2020 after fifty years of service. Arme Jean married Ronald Christian in 2005, and they were happily married for four years. She enjoyed watching western films, puzzles, crossword books. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for everyone on holidays. She was a foster parent, the best board game player. She enjoyed having deep conversations and she and her sisters were full of laughter. Arme Jean was preceded in death by her father, James McGron; her mother, Lillian Rogers Flowers; her husband, Ronald Christian; and one brother, Clavin McGrone. She is survived by two sons, Craig McGrone of Kansas City, Missouri; and Willie Prevolt of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Arme Jean Pruitt (Augustus) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; she also leaves to cherish her memories her siblings Frank Flowers; Lester McGrone; and Eugene McGrone all of Kansas City, Missouri; three sisters, Waltina Collins; and Carol McGrone both of KCMO; and Caroline McGrone of Belton, Missouri; she will be remembered by her grandchildren, Aniweta McGrone, Augustus Pruitt Jr, Anthony Pruitt , Aaliyah Pruitt, Craig McGrone Jr.; great grandchildren, Kehlani Pruitt, May'Lani Pruitt, Kamiyah Pruitt, Ja'Mire Pruitt, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends. Statement This may be the last time that we see you for a while but this isn't our final goodbye. You always say "see you later" so until we met again. I love you. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Beauty of Holiness Church 8216 Paseo Blvd. KCMO 64131. Interment: Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery.
