Sheila Renee Miller affectionately called (“Tiny mama”, because she was so small) by family and friends was born on January 26. 1962, to William C and Dona Marie (Lewis) Mille
Sheila went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents William (Jack) and Dona Marie Miller.
Sheila Attended Milton Moore elementary school and graduated from B.W. Shepard State School in Kansas City.
Sheila was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church where she remained until her health began to fail.
Tiny loved to sing, dance and talk on the phone all night to her friends. She especially enjoyed the song “Oh, Sheila” by Ready for the World.
Sheila was a part of the Rehabilitation Center of Kansas City’s workshop program for 42 years. She also sold Avon for 5 years.
Sheila bowled and attended dances sponsored by Jackson County. She was an avid participant in the Special Olympics for many years and received numerous medals and
ribbons.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memory six brothers William (Artis), Michael, Jeffrey, Ronald, Phillip (Charlotte) and Gregory. Two sisters, Sharon Thomas and Rhonda Miller, all of Kansas City, Mo.
A sister-in-love Vernita Lewis (James) of Olathe, Ks. Sheila leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sheila’s best friend Tamika Bullock.
Funeral services Friday, December 23, at 10:30am at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment Leavenworth National Cemtery. Visitation 10:00am-10:30am at the chapel.. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
