Katherine I. Bettis, 57, passed away on December 1, 2022, at General Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on April 5, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri to Harold E. Bettis, Sr. and Velma J. Berry Bettis.
Katherine grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Southeast in Kansas City, Missouri.
Katherine attended Job Corps. She began work for Gates and Sons as a cashier.
Katherine married the love of her life Rickey Coffee.
Kathy was always cooking and feeding someone and everyone. She was a very nice person.
Katherine was preceded in death by Velma J. Bettis, Harold S. Bettis, Jawuan Bettis and Tera E. Williams.
Katherine leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Ricky Coffee.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, 2:00pm at the Linwood Chapel. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
