Byron Keith Williams was born to the union of Otis B. Williams, Jr. and Ellee (McCarther) Williams on October 24, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. His father preceded him in death.
Byron accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Pligrim's Rest Missionary Baptist Church, where he attended with his family. He was educated in the Raytown public schools attending Raytown South High School. After high school he enlisted in the U. S. Army.
Byron returned home from the military and attended the Builder's Trade School where he learned skills needed for the work he loved doing and was good at it. He was the owner of Byron Williams Contracting Company. He also worked for True Value Hardware and Children's Mercy Hospital.
Byron united in marriage to the former Jewell Dilworth and to this union a daughter, Kendra M. Dilworth was born, the marriage was dissolved. He later gained a son, Byron K. Willams, Jr., mother was Sharon Johnson. He later united in marriage to the former Dawn Clark gaining three step daughters, Ashlyn, Alexis and Christian Clark, the marriage was dissolved.
On Sunday, December 26, 2021 , Byron peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home at the Lee's Summit Medical Center.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory, his mother, Ellee Williams; daughter, Kendra M. Dilworth; son, Byron K. Williams, Jr.; two step daughters, Alexis Clark and Christian Clark; three brothers, Otis H. Williams, Walter D. Williams and Germond E. Williams, Sr. (Angela); two granddaughters, Harmony Holmes and Journey Salvage, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 10:00am Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery, LVNKS. Visitation will be from 9am-10am at the chapel. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
