Dollie M. Harper, 99, departed this life on February 22, 2018, at home.
Dollie as born on May 3, 1918, in Cloutierville, Louisiana to Jack and Viola (Rachal) Wilson.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jack and Viola Wilson, a brother, Bernard Wilson, and a son, Robert Parker.
Dollie began working for various families as a House Organizer and worked for over forty years. She retired in 1983, after years of faithful service.
Dollie married Joseph in 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri and they were happily married for sixty-five and a half years. Dollie was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, and being around her family.
Dollie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Joseph of Raytown, Missouri; two daughters, Opal Parker and Granee’ Parker, (Dwayne); a son, Andre Parker of Raytown, Missouri; grandchildren: Robert Parker, Jr. (Carmel), Kelli Marie Perez, Ali Monique Parker, Che’ Andre’ Parker (Krystal) and Simone Yvette Brown (Andrew); daughter-in-law, Evalynn Parker; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service for Dollie M. Harper will be held Saturday, March 3, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8812 E. Gregory Blvd.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church.
Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery.
